From Haarajoky, Finlandia: San Miniato and its surroundings were beautiful! Rooms were pretty and very well equipped. We were lucky to have a nice and hot weather yet the villa was cool and comfortable and the pool was such a relief. Week was way too short a holiday in Tuscany! And the pig was cute!
Il Lago restaurant nearby was a very good one and the staff was helpful and English-speaking. We had rented cars and visited Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano, all very beautiful hilltop towns quite close to Villa San Miniato. Definitely worth visiting.

From Vista, USA: What an outstanding place Tuscany is! Even though it rained a little bit, the weather was great. Mild and perfect for sightseeing all the lush, green Tuscan landscape. The villa was beautiful - right on top of a hill with a great view of the valley. And so comfortable too. Lots of space inside. Maria was a very charming and accomodating hostess.

From Portland, USA: I would recommend this villa to any traveler. The views were spectacular, the owner (Maria) most accomodating, and we loved the huge fireplace in the kitchen. San Miniato is easily accessible to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena and all points in-between. What a great place to relax after a hectic day of sightseeing. I used a GPS which was invaluable! 28/05/2008
